Diana Furchtgott-Roth served for two years as the Chief Economist of the U.S. Department of Labor. She is now an adjunct fellow at the Manhattan Institute and a columnist for RealClearMarkets.com. She is also a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute where she directs the Center for Employment Policy. From 2001 to 2002 she served as chief of staff at the President's Council of Economic Advisers.
