Diana Furchtgott-Roth served for two years as the Chief Economist of the U.S. Department of Labor. She is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research and a columnist for Marketwatch.com. From 2001 to 2002 she served as chief of staff for President George W. Bush's Council of Economic Advisers. She also saw service in the Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush administrations.
