Mike Huckabee
August 31 2015

2016 Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is best known for his almost out-of-nowhere success during the 2008 Republican Presidential race. He won more than four million primary votes nationwide and captured eight states. He served as the governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007 after spending four years as lieutenant governor. He has also been a successful media personality, first in television with the FOX News Channel and later on radio with Cumulus Media. Before entering politics, Gov. Huckabee was ordained as a Southern Baptist minister and worked for twelve years as a full-time pastor.
